I jumped on the Fix It Sticks bandwagon back in late-2015 when I discovered their multi-tool and torque limiters. I own several of the miniature torque limiters, but I also own a few sets of Fix It Sticks which I carry in different bags.
Just recently, Fix It Sticks started selling a 53 in-lb torque limiter along with an extended 3/16″ ball end hex bit.
As an owner of an Accuracy International Chassis System for the Remington 700 action (ATAICS specifically), I use an extended 3/16″ hex bit in order to tighten down the action screws.
But I also need to torque down the action screws to 6 Nm (Newton meters) in accordance with the AICS specifications. 6 Nm converts to 53 in-lbs and since Fix It Sticks was not selling a 53 in-lb limiter, I ended up acquiring a 53 in-lb torque limiter from Borka Tools to keep in my bag for field / range use.
The Borka Tools torque limiter is a fine tool, but I do favor the portability of the Fix It Sticks (Sloky) torque limiters, so I ended up ordering the Fix It Sticks 53 in-lb torque limiter. Even though I already have a couple of extended 3/16 bits, I bought the Fix It Sticks combo, anyway.
This is not meant to be a review or a comparison between the Fix It Sticks (Sloky) torque limiters and other torque tools. Feel free to read my original review of the Fix It Sticks tools, though. This is just meant to spread the word of a torque limiter option for other Accuracy International Chassis System owners who need/want a 6 Nm torque limiter.
