Range Vlog #279 – 2024-09-10

I went to the range on the morning of a scheduled day off from work. The air was quite bad due to multiple wildfires in the Southern California area, with the West End Gun Club range facility in-between two major ones (although not a fire threat to the range).

I brought out the NRL Hunter rifle to fine tune the zero-stop for the Zero Compromise Optic ZC420 that I acquired from @Cstactical as well as try out loads with Vihtavouri N555 as well as trying out my previously established load with Federal Gold Medal Match Small Rifle primers.

I also brought out the 22 GT @AeroPrecision SOLUS build to reconfirm some loads with Hodgdon H4831SC and to try out the new @GrayOpsCNC GT billet AW magazine. Furthermore, I spent several minutes discussing a video I saw where a person said the Arken Optics EP5 is just as good as a Nightforce Optics 7-35 ATACR.
