Range Vlog #230 – 2023-07-19

The upper range was all clear for me to spend the morning shooting 300 yards (307 actual) and get some content made for some other non-vlog videos.

I confirmed the load I intend to use in the Lightweight Precision Rifle build (Defiance anTI):

• Berger Bullets 6.5/.264 144 gr Long Range Hybrid Targert
• 42.2 gr H4350
• Alpha Munitions small rifle primer brass
• CCI BR4 primer

2692 fps avg (~65 F) and 2704 fps avg (~86 F).

It shoots well at 307 yards posting a nice 2″ group on steel.

I also brought out a newly acquired Vortex Optics Triumph HD 10×42 binocular. This is a very low budget binocular that I wanted to try out as Vortex is setting precedent with a sub-$100 (by one cent) binocular.
