Range Vlog #225 – 2023-06-19

I went out to the range to continue testing loads in the lightweight precision rifle built on a Defiance Machine anTI action with a 22″ Proof Research barrel in an MDT HNT26 chassis.

I installed a RRS Universal Arca rail using MLOK hardware on the HNT26 due to a narrow Arca dovetail on the foreend. However, it turns out I was still having bipod slipping issues by virtue of the RRS Arca rail not tightened enough on the MLOK slots.

Furthermore, I experienced some weird lag in the ignition on my handloads, where I could perceive a very short amount of lag time from the firing pin striking forward and the time the round went off.
