There was a sale on in-stock X-Caliber barrels and they had some AR-15 barrels in 224 Valkyrie. I decided to get one as a low risk opportunity to try out 224 Valkyrie since I already had all the parts to build a new upper (except for barrel, and the non .223/5.56 bolt).
