NRA LR-FC Target Diagram with MRAD Scale (for 1000 yards)

posted in: How-To, Shooting 0

The other night I made a scaled diagram of an official NRA LR-FC target also known as the NRA Long Range F-Class target, or the 800 / 900 / 1000 yard F-Class target, but I included a 0.1 MRAD grid which is scaled to be correct for 1000 yards.

Shooters that use MRAD / MILR / MILS / milradians will find this a useful quick reference for making shot corrections while ‘speaking’ MRAD as opposed to MOA.

Note that NRA High Rules define the Long Range target board as 72 inches x 72 inches. Generally speaking, there are 36 inches per 1 MRAD at 1000 yards (3.6 inches per 1 MRAD at 1000 yards), so the NRA Long Range target board is 2 MRAD wide at 1000 yards.

Note: I updated the LR-FC diagram and created one for the NRA MR-1 FC target using MRAD scales at 600 yards. The target diagrams are located at https://www.ocabj.net/knowledge-base/target-reference/.
