While my church doesn’t have a posted dress code, people should really have some respect for the church and wear decent attire.
A t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops are not proper attire for Mass. Wear some pants (slacks or jeans), a decent shirt, and closed toe shoes (definitely no on the Crocs).
If you decide to dress like you are going to the beach, at least have the decency to iron your t-shirt, wear a clean pair of shorts, and cut your toe nails.
