Some New Yorker decided to sue Apple for $1M because of the iPhone price cut. The basis of the lawsuit is that the price cut hurt the early purchasers because they cannot sell the iPhone for a profit after the price cut.
Wow. I didn’t realize purchasing consumer electronics was solely based on turning a profit. I thought you bought a phone to use. Looks like I was wrong on that. Next time I buy a computer and the price drops $100 for the same computer 2 months after I bought it, I’m going to sue the manufacturer because I can’t sell the computer for a profit anymore.
